Some happy/things that cracked me up recently:

♣ Still working on my first drabble, but my multifandom promptathon remains open! I'll be attempting to write in my procrastination/downtime all this week, so keep tossing ideas at me. :)

♣ I nearly finished a cowl from a free crochet pattern last night! All it needs is either whip stitching or some cute buttons. :3

♣ You know that meme? That "Pick up the book nearest to you and turn to page 45. The first sentence explains your love life." meme? ... yeah. As I said to

oyceter when I saw it a few days ago, the book nearest to me was (and still is, actually, as I haven't rearranged my desk) a blank diary.

Speaking of books, if anyone has recs for shiny books of the fluffier variety, I'd really appreciate them! It's been a while since I've found anything to just fall into.

4. I made the mistake of buying an entire head of cabbage something like 3 weeks ago. I've been trying and failing to finish it since I bought it, and now have to finish it before I go home (in 3 days), enforced pre-holiday detox style. WHAT DO I DO WITH CABBAGE, GUYS, TELL ME.

how not to write a personal statement- or, i am the biggest magpie known to man:

1. attempt to multitask by "brainstorming" (wakefulness: 85%) on commute.
2. notice giant glaring Glee promo plastered to the side of a wall right next to the port authority bus ramp.
3. see Tina's (maybe 500x life-size) face!
4. think about that Tina/Mike clip pimped on angry asian man. (nnnngh, Tina/Mike.)
4a. also, dancing shirtless Mike.
5. start mentally organizing a Tina/Mike + Tina/Artie fic, oh my god whyyyyyyy I HAVE NOT EVEN WATCHED THIS SHOW PAST, LIKE, 1x09 OR WHATEVER (& ALSO THERE ARE ABOUT EIGHT THINGS ON MY ~PROCRASTINATING TO-WRITE LIST ALREADY, NONE OF WHICH HAVE PROGRESSED), FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU /o\
