Blue wave vs. gerrymandering battle: not as crushing as I feared! So, so happy to know that some real momentum has been achieved, including the passage of some great criminal justice measures- FUCK YES TO ENDING FELONY DISFRANCHISEMENT IN FLORIDA! ♥ Only allowing myself this short break to skim results before it's back to work for me, but consider this a cordial invitation to comment-party about the things you're celebrating! Candidates, ballot measures, close races, voting experiences, or anything else. (I for one am hoping for news or better yet, some proper stats, on the Great Slate races at some point.)

Pete Sessions was voted out in Texas!

Beto didn't win but he galvanized the Democrats in Texas and laid a foundation network for the future.

I feel like we haven't seen the last of Beto! At least, one lives in hope.

I am sad about Beto, but at least my district booted our rep in favor of Lizzie Panill Fletcher.
