Okay, I don't think I am that easily grossed out, but I really was not expecting to see a teratocarcinoma in the middle of my tumblr dash (if you're not sure what that is, CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK. NO, REALLY.) today.

Jha, ilu & I agree that they are fascinating (in the totally gruesome and horrifying way) but OMG the shriek I had to suppress at work just now. ;;;;;;;;

The teeth ones are awesome, respect. The hair ones are creepy, but that is because hair not on people's heads creeps me out (see my instinctive eeeeew, ew, ew, ew reaction to wigs made out of human hair (it's a thing)).

PROBABLY. I actually bet that they plate out and dissect most of them, so less horrifying than you would expect. STILL FAIRLY HORRIFYING THOUGH. I also bet they get NIH funding up the wazoo: it's cancer + stem cells, what could be sexier?
