It's been a while since I've read Harry Potter, but it seems like we always see Cho in relation to other people--Cedric, Harry--and I loved seeing more of her. I also loved that there's a part of her life that white Hogwarts just doesn't get--either ignoring it or clumsily trying to participate--and she's annoyed but doesn't expect any different, but also seems happy that it's hers and they can't touch it.

And your Azula! In some of the fic I've read lately she doesn't have any attachments to people whatsoever, which isn't how I read her at all. I think she is attached--to Zuko, especially--but her relationships are based on power-plays and competition. And as Zuko is drawn to her, (how she can easily manipulate him into coming home, for instance) she's also drawn to him. (She wants to capture the Avatar, and do it first or better than him). So I loved how, when Azula doesn't understand what Uncle's talking about, she makes sure that Zuko doesn't understand, either.
