Yuletide 2010 letter!

Dear Yuletide author:
Thank you for writing my story this year! Also, yay, we share a fandom! \o/ Hopefully the following notes will be helpful.
Some generalities: For these particular fandoms I would prefer not to receive crack or AU scenarios, but otherwise I'm pretty flexible on genre! I like gen, slash, femslash, and het, and have no particular preferences for ratings, although if you are inspired to go the porn route I would rather it come with context. I am a huge friendshipper, in and out of my OT-ships; complicated and messy relationship networks are made of win! I am also a fan of geekery and worldbuilding-type details in any form you choose to throw them in- things like food and the use of multiple languages are fantastic, for example. (I don't mind words or lines of dialogue that I don't understand!) Acknowledging -isms is fine, but I would prefer that they not be unchallenged, presented as teaching moments for privileged characters, or the sole focus of the story. Happy endings are nice, but realistic ones are better.
1. Bend it Like Beckham (2002) [Jess Bhamra, Tony]:
Jess and Tony being BFFs, please! :D Jess and Tony BFFery post-Jess/Joe breakup and Jess/Jules relationship (and possibly with Tony asking if it would be okay to ask Joe out) would be utterly fabulous, but I will gleeface over anything with the two of them, really.
Much as I love Jess and Jules and Joe, it makes me sad that Tony gets sidelined in the movie, so I'd love to see more of him here. Also, more glimpses of Jess's non-football relationships would be amazing! :3
2. Chì bì | Red Cliff (2008) [Zhûgě Liàng, Zhôu Yú, Xiao Qiao, Sûn Shàngxiâng]
Prompt: they all know theirs could be a temporary alliance.
Take "alliance" however you will- historically, emotionally, etc... ;)
3. Effluent Engine- N K Jemisin [Eugenie Rillieux, Jessaline Dumonde]
Scientific shenanigans! Budding relationship! More politicking intrigue!- just to name a few possibilities. ;)
I don't know what to add to this, really. *g* Haitian lesbian steampunk ftw!
4. Monga [Mosquito, Dragon Lee]
There is a lot of subtext between these two characters and Monk (who is not on the nominated characters list mostly because I forgot to double-check it)! Any backstory on that would be welcome, but really anything would be welcome, period.
This one's the longest of long shots, I guess, but still. Monk and Dragon as newbie gangsters, Mosquito and/or Dragon and/or Monk learning to fight, Monk's protective instincts toward Dragon and Mosquito, what made Dragon decide to pick Mosquito in the first place, how Dragon's boysclub developed, anything!
