+ Remix is up! \o/ Some most excellent soul decided to remix my teeny scarvesnhats ficlet, yesterday was blue, and I couldn't be happier: Familiar and Strange is just about everything I am a sucker for when it comes to Remus/Sirius! While I was the one who broke them apart, I'm so glad that my remixer decided to piece them back together (and oh, Sirius, I am so never going to get over you. :>).

+ Y'all, I have finished A:TLA aaaaand OMG SO READY FOR A REWATCH. :D :D :D &hearts! + Speaking of rewatches, crossedwires has a delicious picspam of Red Cliff, Part I! It is pretty much the perfect explanation of why I ship everyone/everyone in that movie.

I love that she's sassy and smart-mouthed and absolutely hates being a girly girl (unless, of course, it's to play tricks on someone else). I love that she's not a magical disabled unicorn, that she's flawed and she knows it and she knows when it shows. I love that even though she's tiny, she can kick the collective asses of everyone in the room, and I love that she faces her fears head-on, unlike almost everyone else in the series. BASICALLY ROCK ON, MY GIRL, YOU ARE AWESOME AND ILU LOTS (terrible Sokka!pun intended). :D

Mai: dude, best stoic ever. I love that she always seems to be about the gloom and doom and stone-faced sarcasm and pretends she doesn't give a shit about anyone, but when it comes down to it she will fight like a lion to protect the people she loves, no matter what. Also, she has Zuko wrapped around her little finger even more than he has her wrapped around hers, and you have to love that! ;D

Oh God, oh God, your squee makes me want to rewatch Avatar and omg, I love that show so much, I basically can not think of anything that is a total flaaaaw, I mean, I know that is is flawed, I know that, but none of those flaws hit me when I watch it. It's just, fjdskafdfkdhdffdsfdsa SO MUCH LOVE.

I love his grinny little face; I love that he's so cheerful and carefree and such a kid despite being a hundred years old and having lost everyone he ever knew (except Appa! and that relationship is love, too). I love that even when he gets down, he bounces back; I love the way he is with other people, that he's so open to them; I love that he makes friends so easily and can't bring himself to harm his enemies, or at least, not when he isn't desperate to survive or to save his friends. And of course I love that he is so very obviously in love with Katara, heh.

I love his epic love affairs with food and tea and the simple pleasures in life; I love his congeniality toward pretty much everyone he meets; I love that he's so good at keeping secrets that nobody even suspects that he has them. I love that he's more than a survivor, and that he will always find a way to make a life for himself no matter where he is; I love that he holds family and friendship first in his heart (BEST DAD/UNCLE/SENSEI EVER); I love that he knows that finding happiness is a matter of knowing where to look.
