D'awww, this is really cute! I like your take on Mai and her personality comes across really well in this. Zuko's tiny moments of frustration are great too. I also really liked the beginning with the flowers, because Mai really isn't a flower kinda girl.
Also, you have a Kushiel icon!! :D I love those books and am currently reading through the sequel trilogy.
