Today was a good day! I am home now, from birthday-ing and book-binging (Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie, which I admired theoretically but did not at all connect with emotionally, A Good Indian Wife by Anne Cherian, which I fell completely into, and then Li-Young Lee's Behind My Eyes, which I caved and bought and devoured on the bus ride home) and bouncing out after half a day of work on a technically-long-weekend, and I am so ready for sleep, you guys, so ready.
