call me sentimental- thanks to certain childhood favorites of mine, i was still willing to give this piece of apparent fail a shot, but then someone found this little tidbit, and. yeah. i've been lucky so far; at least for the first few months of Racefail'09 the authors embroiled in the 'fail were people i hadn't actually read and liked. i'd had hopes for Wrede, but... it's time to cut my losses. :\
