I kind of adore #6. 7) He still feels it every time Arthur's born into the world, but the timing of it is always just off-kilter, and their lives never intersect. Centuries later, Merlin's stopped looking. how sad is that? I'm glad they finally intersected again.
and Good Omens fic almost always makes me happy :)
