Music-geek love, heh. I like (certain subsets of) pop songs, okay? It's just that every so often, I feel like hitting people with the theory stick when it comes to compositional "originality."

Oh goodness this is SO WEIRD. My friend Simon (who's Australian) knows these guys. He showed me a non-live version of the 4 Chord Song a couple of months ago. :D

Just saw this the other day (and other parts of the Melbourne comedy gala) and laughed so hard at this one. They melded the songs beautifully!
