Ahhh, I'm so happy about all this Janelle Monae content! DIRTY COMPUTER FLAIL PARTY IS OPEN, COME AT ME. :D One thing that particularly struck me is her aesthetic transition from sharp-edged monochrome into vivid pop-art color explosions; if you haven't spent an afternoon re/watching ALL the Janelle music videos post-album drop, I highly recommend it! The effect is so good. Also, that interview with Rolling Stone! ♥ I really want to see her perform live; maybe I can finally make that happen this summer...

Favourite songs: I can't choose between 'Don't Judge Me' and 'So Afraid'. Okay, I think 'So Afraid' wins.

I knew I was going to love this album as soon as I heard the title, but omg the video, I love it SO MUCH.

THE VIDEO!!! :D :D :D omg I love the triad with Janelle and Tessa and... the guy whose name I don't actually know, oops.

Favorite song is hard, omg. Least favorite is actually easier for me- Pynk is a bit too candy-sweet for my tastes (but the video for that is also, again, great).
