Last night in my browsing for Poirot videos, I ended up finding and watching David Suchet's documentary on Being Poirot instead. :D It's actually quite warm-and-fuzzies inducing, if a bit spoilery on various plot points for various stories. David Suchet talks about figuring out Poirot's character, method acting, sets, his other film references, Agatha Christie herself, international audiences, etc. If you're an Agatha Christie fan and haven't already seen it, I think it's quite worth it!

How are you, G? Comps done? M.

I'm enjoying the summer lull :) Supposedly I get comp 1 results and comments back at the end of the month, but I still haven't decided on comp 2. (The gender one looks interesting, but I also know that many, many people had to retake it, and I'm not sure how I feel about possibly putting in extra time for an academic hoop.)

Also didn't realize your comps were broken into two parts! When's the deadline for Part 2? Will it be a summer project for you?
Just saw someone on the flist has been watching Kim's Convenience. Have you? I'm going to keep an eye out for it here in the US. Hopefully it will show up on PBS or Netflix. M.

Nope, Kim's Convenience is around the middle of what I can remember of my to-watch list. I might give it a try at some point, though!
