words get lost in the atmosphere

~ Wow, still haven't made up my sleep debt from the weekend. It feels like I'm clawing my way through cotton gauze right now. 0.o

~ Saw DH last night, with C & R! I wasn't entirely blown away (let's face it, I've never been blown away by any of the HP movies) but my goodness, so many feeeeeeeelings about the Trio all of a sudden! I've only read DH the once, but I don't remember flailing over the Harry/Ron/Hermione dynamics... at all, really? Though I had also just read HBP before that and was still all D: and hard-pressed to care about anything post-Sirius, so. Anyway, GOOD JOB, EMMA, DANRAD, & GRINT, THAT WAS BLOODY WELL DONE, even if I did lol at all the fanservice-y nekkid!Harry. &hearts I'm definitely Excited for Part Two!

~ Still haven't revisited my Yuletide source. Need to do that! Also feeling the need for A:TLA and Junjou marathons, since I'm still that far behind on my writing to-do list. /o\

~ I've kind of spent most of this year in a writing funk interrupted by bouts of productivity, huh. It'd be nice to have things the other way around! *shakes fists*

I was pretty meh about the movie. Although it was kinda cool to see them start dealing with issues, I was really annoyed with the stop-and-go plot bombs ("We find a clue. But we cannot pursue it. We will be bored and turn on each other. Hey look! A clue! repeat").

I didn't feel like there was a lot of agency or choice in the clue bombing portion of the movie. And both starting and ending the movie with sacrificial characters was kinda meh too.
