Your linking of that post made me thoughtful, since I'd previously assumed that people had come across that problem in Harry Potter fandom before! But now I am realizing that perhaps not, so I have just dropped a link to my post on metafandom. If it isn't widely known, I'm feeling that it's time for fandom to have a wider discussion about this thing.
